Our Doctors
Juan C Yordán, MD

.Dr. Yordan was born in Ponce, PR where he did his undergraduate and graduate studies, in Biology at Catholic University of PR and Medical School at Ponce School of Medicine. After finishing his residency training in Family Medicine at Doctor Pila Hospital, he opened his own practice in PR. In 2004 moved to Virginia and worked with Norton Community Hospital Physicians Group and as an ER physician. In 2007 he decided to move to Ocala, FL where he joined Family Care Specialists. He is board certified by the ABFP since 1998 and a member of the AAFP. He always liked the teaching role so he has been an associate clinical professor at different Universities including Ponce School of Medicine, Pikeville College, VCOM, and most recently University of Florida. When not working he spends his time with his wife Ninette, who has supported his decisions and with their two great children Natalia and Juan Carlos. Dr. Yordan likes to read, listen to music and coach Volleyball, which he has been doing at 352 Elite Volleyball Club for the past 2 yrs.

It is our mission to provide excellent health care services to the areas of The Villages, Lady Lake , Summerfield, Ocala and sorrounding communities by serving the needs of our patients with professionalism, creativity and compassion.

As a Family Physician, we take pride in treating our patients not as an individuals. but as part of a family system, where conditions can be affected by multiple factors.

 

We will serve as a "medical home"  by coordinating, managing and integrating the various aspects of their healthcare to ensure comprehensive care.  We'll encourage patient education, lifestyle modification, and prevention as critical aspects to optimize long-term health
